The Today screen shows at most three things to do: check the names the system found, print the letters that are ready, and log what happened after letters you mailed. Tap one; the brand name at the top always brings you back.
How to mail today's letters
Open Mail. Everyone listed is ready today.
Untick anyone you don't want.
Press Print letters, then Print in the preview. The moment the letters open, those people are crossed off the list so nobody is mailed twice. Press Undo if you didn't mean to.
Press Print labels (Avery 5160), then Print. Done.
How to check names
Tap Check names. You see one person at a time: the name, the sentence from the article, and whether they were hurt or died (then the letter goes to the family). Press Yes if it's the right person, No if it isn't, Skip if you're not sure — it comes back in a week. On a phone you can swipe the card right for Yes or left for No.
Every tap can be undone for a few seconds: press Undo in the bar. After a Yes, pick the address if one was found.
Keyboard, if you like it: Y yes · N no · S skip · U undo · 1–6 pick an address · Enter use it.
How to log what happened
Tap Log what happened. Every letter you mailed is listed, newest first, with how many days ago it went out. Tap Called, Meeting, Signed, Not interested, Returned mail or No answer. Tap it again to clear it. Returned mail means that address is never used again.

What these words mean
Ready to mail
An approved name, a street address, no lawyer yet: it prints when you press the green button.
Needs your OK
The news named someone, or an address was found, and nobody has said yes yet.
Found in the news
The name comes from a news story; the link opens it.
Address from county property records
The county's public list of property owners has someone with this exact name near the accident. The best public match, not proof.
Injury letter
The letter to a living person who was hurt.
Condolence letter to the family
The letter to the family of someone who died. It is never addressed to the person who died.
Already has a lawyer
The news says they are represented. Nothing prints.
Do not mail
A name you told the site never to write to. It applies everywhere.
Crossed off
Printed. The site records it the moment the letters open, so the same people never come back tomorrow. Undo puts them back.
Florida 30-day waiting period
Florida rules: the letter can't go out until 30 days after the accident. It appears by itself on that day.
What never prints
Anyone on the do-not-mail list, anyone who already has a lawyer, and anyone whose name hasn't been approved with a source. This site only makes printouts; it never sends anything.
